At Academic Adventures Learning Center, we are preparing little explorers for big futures, cultivating confident learners and building strong foundations for every adventure ahead.

Programs

We believe early childhood experiences lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Our programs are designed to promote growth through meaningful engagement, structured play, and nurturing guidance. From Infants through School Age, our goal is to foster confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning

Infants

We understand that leaving your baby in someone else's care is a big step. Our infant classroom provides a safe, nurturing environment where each child's individual needs are respected.

Learning begins through sensory exploration, language exposure, and responsive caregiving We work closely with families to ensure your child feels secure in their "home away from home." Our infant classroom follows Safe Sleep guidelines:

  • Babies are placed on their backs to sleep.

  • Cribs are kept free of blankets, pillows, and toys.

  • The classroom is shoe-free to maintain a clean environment.

Toddlers

Our toddler program supports growing independence in a structured, developmentally appropriate setting. Children engage in hands-on activities that build language, motor skills, and early social development.

Potty training is encouraged in partnership with families and is most successful when home and school work together.

More Programs

Preschool

Our preschool program prepares children academically and socially for kindergarten. Daily experiences include:

  • Small and large group instruction

  • Learning centers are creative play

  • Early literacy and numbers recognition

  • Language development and social skills

We focus on building confidence, independence, and school readiness through engaging purposeful learning.

VPK Program

For eligible four-year-old’s, we participate in the state Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK)

program.

Children are introduced to:

  • Letters and early writing skills

  • Numbers and foundational math concepts

  • shapes, colors, and vocabulary development

State-required assessments are conducted as part of the VPK program, and results are shared with families throughout the year.

School - Age Program

Enrichment, homework, support and leadership

  • Before-school care and breakfast

  • Transportation to Ocala Springs and Ward Highlands Elementary School

  • After- school snack

  • outdoor recreation

  • Homework assistance

  • STEM projects

  • Group activities and team building

Structured wind down time Seasonal and Enrichment Programs

Program Description and Activities

At Academic Adventures, we provide hands on, literacy rich learning environment designed to support the growth of the whole child. Our classrooms are intestinally structured to promote academic achievement, language development, and meaningful exploration.

Screen time is limited and strictly for educational purposes with proper authorization to ensure learning remains interactive and engaging.

Our Bee All You Can Bee curriculum is designed to support each child's individual developmental journey. Through thematic, play based instruction, children are immersed in meaningful learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and confidence.

Weekly lesson plans are carefully prepared for each age group and align with intentional learning objectives. Our academic day begins each morning with structured time and included circle time, small and large group activities, table work, hands on centers, and movement based learning.

Core subjects such as literacy, math, science, language development, and social and emotional learning are integrated throughout the day to create a balanced learning experience. Each month we focus on character development focus, promoting values such as cooperation, patience, honesty, gratitude, and respect.

Above all, our dedicated and credentialed educators understand that every child develops at their own pace. We are committed to providing a nurturing, supportive environment where children fell confident, capable, and inspired to grow.
